How might we nurture a community of learners, where making thinking visible is safe, even when students make a mistake? In this session, we will consider norm setting, questioning, and listening, as well as strategies, routines, and tasks to jump start conversations that encourage students to take risks and contribute to effective discussions.

These questions are meant to have an accessible entry point and to progress to challenging questions, allowing students to work at their own pace and achieve their highest potential.
