America's Most Haunted Radio talks with THE AFTERLIFE FILES creator Todd Moster.

An effort to mount one of the most ambitious and decisive scientific explorations of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) launched January 28 on crowd-funding website Kickstarter.com.

THE AFTERLIFE FILES aspires to be a combined scientific expedition and 13-episode TV series designed to get to the bottom of EVP claims. Featuring a collaboration of experienced EVP researchers, skeptics, mainstream scientists, and families seeking contact with departed loved ones, the series will document a landmark effort to solve one of the greatest mysteries of all time.

The Kickstarter project is wildly ambitious at $500k and only 40 days long, but "there are a lot of people out there who are fascinated by this subject. If we can reach them and get them to back us with a contribution that's comfortable for them - it could be just $10, $50, $100 or more - we may be able to go into production as early as April," says Moster, a  trial attorney and well known executive recruiter in the legal profession, who also created the EVP short documentary BREAKING THE BARRIER.
