I’m Tanya Quinn. I grew up in California, then moved to Utah for college in 2000 where I fell in love with and married a Utahn, Tom. We moved out east for his job in 2014. I was a theatre major at UVSC, (now UVU.) I then went through their culinary program. Whether it was developing a character in a play or catering a wedding or just having friends over for game night and snacks, I loved bringing people together through things I could create. We have 3 sons and 1 daughter. We LOVE to travel. We’ve loved seeing the world but also just love going for family drives to explore a different part of our state. There are a lot of things I love that I’m not good at, board games, dancing, singing, doing nail art, the butterfly swimming stroke to name a few. I also really love the gospel. Like my other interests that I’m not a pro at, I love that I don’t have to be a professional anything to really love the gospel. I love talking about it with anyone and learning from everyone. Usually the more I study the more I find I have to learn. How awesome is it that there’s always more to learn?! I’m grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ. I’ve utilized it for forgiveness, comfort, and to help empower me when I felt helpless. Our trials might look different from one another, but there is always somewhere to turn.
