Uk: У густому лісі поблизу маленького українського села було тихо, якщо не рахувати шереху ялин, що схилилися під вагою снігу.
En: In a dense forest near a small Ukrainskoho village, it was quiet, except for the rustling of the fir trees, bent under the weight of snow.

Uk: В середині лісу, на галявині, зібрались селяни.
En: In the middle of the forest, in a clearing, the villagers gathered.

Uk: Вони стояли в теплих шубах і шарфах, гріючись гарячими напоями.
En: They stood in warm coats and scarves, warming themselves with hot drinks.

Uk: Було свято Водохреща, і всі чекали на музичні виступи.
En: It was the feast of Vodokhreshcha, and everyone was waiting for musical performances.

Uk: Тарасу було лише дванадцять, але його серце билося швидко.
En: Tarasu was only twelve, but his heart was beating fast.

Uk: Він тримав у руках бандуру, інструмент, про який завжди мріяв.
En: He held in his hands a bandura, an instrument he had always dreamed of.

Uk: Це був його перший виступ.
En: It was his first performance.

Uk: Оксана, його мама, і тато, Дмитро, підтримували його.
En: Oksana, his mother, and his father, Dmytro, supported him.

Uk: Вони стояли в натовпі і посміхалися з гордістю, але Тарас відчував себе маленьким і непомітним біля сцени.
En: They stood in the crowd, smiling with pride, but Taras felt small and unnoticed near the stage.

Uk: «А що, як я зроблю помилку?
En: "What if I make a mistake?"
