In this uplifting and inspiring episode, Georgette Beck welcomes Latin singer, entrepreneur, and creative powerhouse Tatiana Rodriguez to the Junk to Jewels Podcast. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Tatiana has been singing since age 11, driven by a passion for music that was nurtured by her biggest supporter - her father, who also served as her music manager.
When her father passed away just before she graduated high school, Tatiana's world shattered. In her grief, she removed everything related to God from her room and questioned her faith. But music remained her anchor. She moved to the United States to pursue her education in Film and Video Production, working through toxic relationships, financial struggles, and the challenge of pursuing her dreams without her father's guidance.
Today, Tatiana is a prominent figure in the entertainment industry who has walked the red carpet at the Latin Grammys, performed across multiple states, and founded Liary Content Solutions - helping other creatives amplify their brand voice. Alongside her husband Joshua (producer Illinois), she creates music, runs a business, and proves that following your passion isn't just possible - it's essential.
This conversation covers the importance of discipline, the courage to take risks, why you must do what makes you happy even if it means a pay cut, and how the most disciplined person will always win.
