Episode 204 features an interview with astrologer David Railey about his work in teaching modern western astrology in China over the past decade.

David is the Vice President of the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), and was in town last week to organize a major conference that ISAR is hosting in Denver in September of 2020.

He is the author of the book The Soul Purpose: Attaining Fulfillment and Security with Astrology.

In 2010 he did a tour to promote the Chinese translation of the book, and subsequently ended up setting up a school there, called the Nodoor School of Astrology:

During the course of our discussion we talk about David’s life and background in astrology, his work through the Nodoor school over the past decade, and the place of astrology in China in modern times.

This episode acts as a nice companion piece to episode 181, where I interviewed Dr. Jeffrey Kotyk about the history of astrology in China prior to modern times.
