With the ProLite going away, and uncertainty as to whether the premium Sonor snare drum features will find their way to a new line of metal shell drums, I toy with my Kompressor to bring it as close as possible to the high end Sonor snares we have known and loved for many years. I have the drum upgraded but it will be another day or so before I have a chance to play it.
