This 132nd episode of Sportsy #LetsTalkSports features Kunal Thakkur, former Tennis Player, a successful coach and now a founder of Tennis Premier League.   

Kunal, beyond his playing days, dedicated his time to the cause of coaching tennis since the last 18 years. Kunal is an eminent name who mentors and runs multiple tennis academies in Mumbai, which currently trains over 1,000 students. His professional expertise coupled with his passion & dedication to the sport & his connection in the global tennis fraternity gives this league its credibility.  

In 2018, Kunal along with his business partner Mrunal founded Tennis Premier League with a backing from AITA, MSLTA and Leander Paes and in 2022, launching their 4th season in Pune.  

Kunal spoke to us about his journey and how known celebrities such as Leander Paes, Sania Mirza, Rakulpreet Singh, Divya Khosla, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonali Bendre and Goran Ivanisevic have supported TPL to become what he envisioned back in 2018.
