Longevity Prep is not just for OGs! Learn good habits of recovery NOW while you are young that will help you as you age into your profession / life in general. The search for longevity typically does not start to occur until most of us are feeling the sting of a life lived hard especially if you are in the tactical professions. However, if you plan to make the tactical professions (military, police, Fire/EMS) a career realize that you will be older longer than you are younger no matter what. Understanding some simple things that you can do now to help prevent the aches and pains of aging from catching up to you is only going to help you in your life’s journey. For the most part, understanding what recovery means and the many ways you can help yourself recover from yesterdays and today’s challenges will help you engage tomorrow’s demands that much better.Acquiring longevity requires a thorough study of multiple dimensions where one needs to actively pursue recovery techniques which includes the following things to consider:- Nutritious consumption of foods and drink-Consistent and Proper sleep and relaxation-Physical Activity that includes Resistance, Cardiovascular, Flexibility / Mobility Training-Control of body weight- Enjoy Your Workday and LifeThere are many ways to balance longevity producing habits. As you are young, start off with a few of the above sections and gradually start paying more attention to more of the longevity boosting considerations. Eventually, one day, you will need to address all the above to continue moving with any efficiency and reduced pain. However, just because you are feeling aches of a life well lived now does not mean you cannot turn it around and feel like you did 20-30 years ago.
