The ACC is financially healthier than college sports fans think it is. Revenue has increased more than 50% over the past five and over 200% over the past ten years! As noted by the News Observer newspaper, it’s not a problem of having money but of having enough money compared to the Big Ten and the SEC. Has the ACC truly been guilty of financial mismanagement as Florida State and Clemson have alleged? Those two schools are currently suing the conference in an effort to break free of the Grant of Rights agreement. 

Hosts Alex Donno and Kenton Gibbs discuss how the ACC can survive after the departures of FSU and Clemson but they will obviously take a hit whenever those schools manage to get it. Meanwhile, the preseason media poll has been revealed. Credentialed media from the ACC Kickoff have cast their votes and ranked every football team from 1 - 17. Donno and Gibbs were among the voters. They discussed the results and revealed which teams came in as surprises.
