On the morning of February 5th, 2015, Tulare County police officer Daniel Green took his son to school and then returned home. While on the toilet, he is shot dead. Police have no gun, eyewitnesses, or DNA evidence. During routine questioning the following day, Daniel’s ex-wife, Erika Sandoval, tells police she hasn’t visited Daniel’s house in weeks, but her story appears to contradict a neighbor’s surveillance footage. 48 Hours correspondent Erin Moriarty presents her investigation into the killing of officer Daniel Green on her podcast, My Life of Crime. In April 1995, Jim came home from work and found Vickie had been shot to death.
