What wisdom and skill-set did our ancient ancestors have that has been lost? What made Homo sapiens survive and other Homo species not? 

The term 'Ancient Futures' comes from the idea that in order for us to have a future, we need to incorporate the life-style of our ancient ancestors - their social structures and their ways of interacting with the Earth and all the living beings in it differently. 

I begin to explore a gigantic topic that I will spend a lot more time with, starting with what do people who live in community have that others don't, and what changes when we begin to interact with the world in a way that honours the aliveness and consciousness in all beings?
