Follow-up Questions:

1. What tree have I climbed to feel secure or significant? (Is it work, money, image, success, control?) What’s one area where I’ve been watching Jesus from a distance instead of walking with Him closely?

2. Am I chasing blessings I can buy while neglecting the ones I can only receive? What have I been trying to purchase, prove, or perform for that only grace can give?

3. If Jesus called my name today, what would I need to come down from? Pride? Busyness? Greed? Fear? What’s keeping me from saying, “Yes, Lord, You can come home with me”?

4. When was the last time I gave something that actually cost me something? Zaccheaus didn’t give leftovers — he gave out of transformation. Where do I need to move from “comfortable giving” to “faithful giving”?
