Henry needs to decide whether he is going to take his family with him picking cherries so he talks to his sisters about it. They decide that it should be okay as long as they don’t all show up together. They all have a great time picking cherries and leave with some money and all the cherries they can carry. The next day as Henry is working the doctor drives up and calls Henry. He drops Henry off at the field to watch the events of Field Day. The day after, a visit back to the pond revealed their mother deliberately ignoring her own rules, sparking a conversation on proper conduct and the importance of manners, highlighting her method of teaching by example.
