The legendary Pythagoras from ancient Greece firmly believed that there was a beautiful underlying order to the universe. His insight was that this order was made of numbers and math and music. As far as we know, he was the first human being to have an insight which to this day drives the scientific method and the search for the numbers and deep mathematical relationships that explain the physical foundations of our universe. But Mr. P. took it further than a simple insight that the natural or physical world could be explained by math. He believed that Nature follows a rational, beautiful logic, and human beings for some mysterious reason are tuned in to it.
