The editor in chief of the Athletic Montreal, Arpon Basu joins Scott to discuss the Eastern Conference first round series.  The Washington Capitals couldn't have looked more disinterested in their series with the New York Islanders, as Barry Trotz completely out coached Todd Reirden and the Isles advanced to the 2nd round.

Arpon also discusses the controversial hit that Matt Niskanen lay on Brendan Gallagher, the one game suspension that came with it, and Gallagher being lost to the Habs for the remainder of this series. Game 6 between Philadelphia and Montreal is Friday night from Toronto.

We head West to Dallas, as Sean Shapiro has a recap of the historic 6th game between the Stars and the Calgary Flames which saw the Stars down by three goals, only to see Dallas vault past the Flames to eliminate them by 4 goals.  Sean praises the coming out party in this playoff for Miro Heiskanen and Denis Guriaonv and how the emergence of these two players certainly helps Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.
