Friends,

As I was preparing this homily for the feast of St. Bruno, I realized that it is important to talk about silence and sacred space.  Too often, we desecrate sacred space with chatter, and this should fill us with the same horror that fills us at the desecration of the Eucharist.

I got a bit intense with this homily, after all, Jesus often gets a bit intense in the Gospel when making a point.
