The Chicago White Sox lost 3 of 4 to the Detroit Tigers and will kick off a six game homestand on Monday. The White Sox lost the series finale to the Detroit Tigers on Sunday in extra innings by a score of, 6-5. Dylan Cease only lasted four innings, throwing 102 pitches and giving up a grand slam. The Sox had the lead in the finale and also in Game 3 but let the Tigers back in both times. The White Sox lone win of the series was a big one... they put up double digit hits and runs in Game 2 and Lance Lynn battled after throwing 54 pitches in two innings. The Sox (22-33) finished their 13 game stretch of games against the AL Central by going (8-5). The Sox kick off a six game homestand on Monday with Michael Kopech on the mound.
