In January, several Palestinian students at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) registered for a virtual event hosted by the Study Abroad Office (SAO) about a new summer programme to be held in Israel. The university’s response has led to a a federal complaint alleging discrimination against Palestinian students at UIC.
