Sermon: The Cursed Tree

Jesus says to the disciples in John 15 that he is the vine and they are the branches who will bear fruit yet in Matthew 21 Jesus curses a tree for not bearing fruit. Is this out of character for Jesus? When is it appropriate for leaders – and for all of us disciples – to “curse trees” and “move mountains”?
