Listen Later

Joining Nadia on this episode of The DEI Discussions is Fumbi Banjoko, Global Director of Sales Development at Currencycloud.

Fumbi shares how the value-centric nature of Currencycloud drew her to the financial technology industry. She hones in on the importance of this value in the workplace- and most notably during her initial interviews.

Creating the perfect hiring process is a well-known pain point for many firms. Fumbi guides us through the steps we can take to ensure hiring best reflects the intrinsic nature of your firm, and most crucially invites diversity of thought.

Fumbi launched the first Afro-Caribbean employee resource group at Currencycloud, creating a safe space to share challenges and collectively work towards tangible, inclusive solutions. Her work hasn't gone unnoticed and she was a finalist for Inspirational Women of the Year at the Black Tech Achievement Awards!

Thank you Fumbi for joining us on the Women of FinTech Podcast!
