Meet Emma founder of Emma Jae Custom laser designs.
About Emma:
A Dream Realised Through Unexpected Challenges
As a child, I often dreamed about what my future might look like, imagining the joys and challenges of parenthood. However, life threw a curveball when my son Harvey was diagnosed as neurodivergent. In that moment, my world seemed to shift, and I had to rediscover not only how to be a mother but how to navigate a world that often isn’t ready to celebrate differences.
This journey led me to create the Desk Visual Schedule, a product designed with neurodivergent children in mind—children like Harvey, who struggle with transitions and flexibility in their daily routines. The Desk Visual Schedule allows these kids to independently create a path for their day, giving them a sense of control and comfort. As a bonus, it also supports the development of fine and gross motor skills.
As discussed in the episode The Body Board: https://emmajae.com.au/products/where-does-it-hurt-a-visual-pain-communication-board-for-kids-copy?_pos=1&_psq=The+Body+Board&_ss=e&_v=1.0

The Disinfluencer 100 is a podcast that flips the script on what it means to be influential.
Hosted by Simone Eyles, founder of Disinfluencer, each episode features one powerful voice from Australia’s disability community—showcasing the people brands need to know, hear, and work with.
Born from the viral campaign of the same name, The Disinfluencer 100 began as a list: 100 disabled Australians making waves across media, business, culture, and community.
The podcast builds on that momentum, offering listeners a chance to connect more deeply with each person’s story, work, and impact.
