The American David Ramon Hawkins was a leading psychiatrist, writer, conscientious researcher, spiritual and mystical lecturer.

DEDICATION
Being young, man's suffering, in its most absolute and total form, was revealed spontaneously through a massive and unlimited understanding. It was a spooky experience that resulted in a dedication to alleviate the suffering of human beings by all available means - science, philosophy, spirituality, neurochemistry, medicine, psychoanalysis, humor, psychiatry, teaching and healing. However, the greatest of all these was given as a gift, and it is this understanding that is capable of healing the very foundation of human suffering. By grace, this is being shared with the world in the hope that it will become a catalyst capable of dissolving the sources of pain and suffering of human beings.
