In a world of approximately 153 million orphans and vulnerable children, the church is uniquely called and equipped to care for these. Having received the love of God and having been adopted by grace into His family, we are now to reflect that love to others––particularly to those who are weak and vulnerable. Based on 1 John 3:1, David Platt encourages us to consider how God might be leading us to care for orphans, whether through adoption or through a variety of other ways.

How do we worship God in his wrath? In this message on Revelation 15–16, Pastor David Platt teaches us how to worship the sovereign and powerful Lord. The book of Revelation is a series of apocalyptic visions filled with prophetic pronouncements written as a congregational letter. These visions include various symbols and numbers (which often lead to various interpretations). These visions are arranged cyclically, not chronologically.

How Do We Worship God in His Wrath?

As we think of the greatness of God and the massive number of people around the world, it’s easy to feel small and insignificant. Even Christians can start to feel as if God doesn’t know or care about the details of our lives.
