Amazing to read an intimate personal story narrated with rich history and stirring characters. Hitchiking and the world itself is not the same as it was when Wink travelled in the early 80's. And it was a stellar story to tell.

The First of Four Excellent Reads

Doc Wink started his 3 year trip around the World in the early 80's. It ender up taking 5.

His way of bringing countries history, culture, and natural resources is excellent.

His Guidelines for Hitch Hikers is great.
