Talk about a WOMAN. We could list everything Tiana Canterbury has done for the Australian Dance community, but we’d be here for an eon. Canterbury is a one-of-a-kind woman who has achieved international and national success in the dance industry. Her work ethic, drive, and realness is infectious and hopefully you can feel that energy from this chat. We sat down with Tiana in one of her studios (check the background sounds of class going on around us!) and spoke to her about her own journey through dance, labels she wants to shed, the politics of dance, networking to build yourself as a brand, unpaid work as a performer, manifestation, and just everything about her MOTHERFUNKIN’ self.
