When Burnham is back on the Discovery it's not long before the pleasantries are over and the mission back to Earth begins. But when the Discovery finds that the Earth Defense Force doesn't operate like the federation it's time for Saru to put his left hoof in and shake it all about with diplomacy.  Where has Starfleet HQ gone? Can Burnham be trusted? Do some crew members of the Discovery still have black badges?
