Sarah Goldfeder is a government relations and strategic policy professional with experience in both government and the private sector. She provides high-level insight on the strategies of engagement with both the U.S. and Canadian governments, including how the two countries work together on important issues. Dr. Laurie Trautman is the Director of the Border Policy Research Institute at Western Washington University. She engages in a range of research on the Canada – U.S. border, particularly in the Cascadia region of Washington State – British Columbia. Luiza Ch. Savage is executive director for editorial initiatives at POLITICO, a global news organization focused on politics and policy. She is responsible for building journalism that connects the dots between capitals of influence and oversees new franchises such as Global Translations and China Watcher. She created POLITICO Canada to deliver political reporting from Ottawa and established a policy intelligence subscription service for Canadian policy professionals.
