What does true repentance look like? Does it require more than mere confession? In our study of the guilt offering in Leviticus 5:14–6:7, we'll see that it is not just an offense—it is a debt that must be paid and a wrong that must be made right. Yet, in His mercy, God provides atonement through the sacrifice of a ram, pointing forward to Christ, our true guilt offering. Because He has paid our debt in full, we are called to repentance—not in fear, but in confidence of His redeeming grace.
