Upon reflection, I can see that the early part of my life was spent wishing things were different. That I was in some way different. That my life circumstances would change. That things would get better. Easier.
Perhaps this sounds familiar to you too.
I've been talking about related subjects lately, so I thought it might be helpful to share some of my own experience of what I mean about being in flow/in alignment, and trusting your intuition.
This short episode includes various examples of being in and out of 'alignment', and offers an affirmation for realigning yourself to a life of ease and grace.
I recently had the pleasure of running some sessions for an online event called Wellness Together. This bonus episode includes one of the meditation exercises that I shared with the participants.
There are no show notes for this episode, so please get yourself comfortable with a pen and paper to hand, as I invite you to step into 'Soul Time' via your breath and body. The prompts at the end of the meditation:

Contrary to what many may think, intuitive abilities are not particularly unique or special, and they are not reserved for certain people. We are ALL inherently intuitive, although we may not always consciously recognise it. If you're not listening to your inner voice/intuition, you are missing out on a wonderful resource and something that could contribute so much to your overall wellbeing and life experience.
In this short episode, I'm talking about some benefits of listening to your inner guidance, and offer five simple things you can do right now to develop and learn to trust your own intuition.

Just as the flowers are blooming outside, Spring is the time when we often feel stirrings within ourselves. This episode is about listening to the signs that something is ready to bloom within you, and how to ascertain the appropriate steps you can take. A guided visualisation is included. You might like to get a pen and paper ready before listening, so you can make a note of what you uncover!

“New research shows the human heart is much more than an efficient pump that sustains life. [R]esearch suggests the heart also is an access point to a source of wisdom and intelligence that we can call upon to live our lives with more balance, greater creativity and enhanced intuitive capacities. All of these are important for increasing personal effectiveness, improving health and relationships and achieving greater fulfilment.” - from 'Science of the Heart' published by the HeartMath Institute.
If our hearts are such an incredible source, how can we access the wisdom and intelligence within them on a day-to-day basis? How do we learn to recognise and trust the guidance we receive? I believe 'heart-centred living' (HCL) is the solution to this. This episode is about using HCL to bring your physical, mental, and emotional systems into balanced alignment with your heart’s intuitive guidance. It includes a guided meditation / visualisation and a written exercise you can use to align with and tap into your heart's wisdom. Find the downloadable exercise sheet (PDF) here.
