We begin this Ellie’s Talking Head show by remembering President John F. Kennedy on the 62nd anniversary of his assignation and contrasting his leadership with that of Donald Trump. The first Big Story is about how the Trump administration is preventing transgender and nonbinary persons from obtaining passports that match their gender identities. Big Story No. 2 is about how a small telehealth that provides gender affirming care to trans kids/youth, Queer Docs, fought a DOJ subpoena for privileged information and won! In Random Acts, I share about being reminded that words written from my heart a decade and a half ago still resonate with a younger person.
