This Sunday we were joined by one of our partners in ministry, Adult and Teen Challenge of Green Bay. ATC is a drug/alcohol/addiction residential treatment program. They shared an update, testimony and worshiped with us through music before pastor Shawn's sermon. 

The sermon: Jesus referred to Himself in John 10 as the Good Shepherd. For many, this is not the Jesus you grew up knowing, this is not the image of Jesus that immediately comes to mind. The shepherd is the overseer and caretaker of the flock. The shepherd provides safety, care and oversight for the sheep. The shepherd cares about the health of the sheep. The Pharisees were not doing a good job of shepherding their flock, Jesus uses this imagery to declare that He is The Good Shepherd.
