This week on XRAtlas,  @Thebabatunde  speaks with  @davee_ola, the Lead Gameplay Engineer and Co-founder at Dimension11 Games studio. He and his team are the masterminds behind Legend of Orisha: Blood and Water, an action-adventure role-playing game (RPG) set in an African fantasy world based on African mythology and Yoruba stories. Babatunde had some time to play the game in the episode and was blown away by the stunning 3D environment, character design, storytelling, and more. They spoke extensively about what it took to build such an amazing game, his journey as a self-taught gameplay programmer, and some of the lessons and challenges he and his team have learned and faced in the African game development ecosystem. He was happy to share his insights and tips on game development.
