The Many Dead Wives Of Robert Spangler and Crappy Kidnapper Edwin Eastwood... Robert Spangler loved hiking in the Grand Canyon. He also loved being married. What he didn't like was the pesky financial burden of divorce. After the 1990 death of his third wife Donna, whilst hiking in the Grand Canyon, investigators were alarmed to discover his wives often came to grizzly ends that were never anything to do with him. Or were they? In 1972 , unemployed plasterers Edwin Eastwood and Robert Boland decided to kidnap school children and their teacher from Faraday Primary School for ransom money. Was this a stupid idea? It certainly was. Would Edwin go on to do it again at the Wooreen Primary School, 3 years later after a daring prison escape? He certainly would. Where does the murder come in? You’ll have to listen to find out!
