This case is known as the most horrific unsolved case of America, such a gruesome, brutal murder of Elizabeth Short AKA The "Black Dahlia". This case is just so sad and it's a shame that this one may never be fully solved. Elizabeth Short's case began on January 15, 1947, when she was found by a local woman named Betty Bersinger in Los Angeles. She was the first person to call the police, but when they discovered Elizabeth's body, they were frightened to find the most horrific scene, Elizabeth was gruesomely butchered in half, from the waist down, naked, and with slits from the corners of her mouth up to her ears, giving her a joker-like smile...This case was not only the most horrific crime of America, it was also notoriously difficult to solve, today this case remains unsolved.
