I’ve realized what the mother of all self-sabotage is.
The more I see over-eating as a symptom and not the root of the issue – the more I realize food isn’t the saboteur. Sabotaging doesn't even really come from our thoughts or emotions – although they play a powerful role and can unlock the answers....
You know what it is? The true sabotager?
It’s suppressing your authentic self.
When we don’t allow our authenticity, our self-expression to shine through – we become deeply unhappy. Then a couple of things happen. We look for external quick fixes – eating, drinking, shopping, etc.
