She is a Professor of psychology at Northeastern University where she focuses on affective science. 

Her focus is on understanding the nature of emotion in the brain.

In this podcast Lisa explains the psychology and neuroscience behind how emotions are created in the brain, what affects our understanding of our emotions and how we try and often fail and “read” others.
