Hebrews 9:15
“Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.” – Hebrews 9:15 ESV
List of Covenants
Between the Edenic Covenant and the New Covenant there was a continual cycle that happened between God and those he made covenants with: Covenant, Probation, Failure, and Judgement
By the time Jesus came the leaders of the Jewish nation had perverted and twisted the Mosaic Covenant by their traditions (Mark 7:1-15). They had become spiritually proud of their choice under the Abrahamic Covenant. They were characterized by hypocrisy, arrogance and lack of any spiritual perception.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 ‘And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.’
Oath of the Covenant
‘Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.’

Ephesians 1:13-14 ‘And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you The Holy Spirit, whom He promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee (seal) that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him. ‘

Covenant Purpose
The Everlasting Covenant is the purpose of God designed before the foundation of the earth
What do I do?
Revelation 1:18 I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.
Philippians 2:6-11 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
