When Banagher College teacher Breed Hassett O Brien was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year, the TY students raised almost €8,000 for Breast Cancer Research by walking 20kms over 4 weeks to match her trips to Dublin for chemotherapy.

To Breed's great surprise, former pupils from around the world, local Gaa players and parents also got involved.
