He competed in his first ever UFC event in 1993, defeating three opponents in one night. Despite being the smallest/lightest man in the competition, standing at 6’1” and weighing 180 pounds, he was victorious and credited with revolutionising the sport. Right now, the 53-year-old is traveling the world teaching Jiu-Jitsu, continuing his father’s legacy, and keeping the Gracie name at the forefront of the sport.
