The Penguins and coach Mike Sullivan have agreed to part ways. The announcement came this morning from GM Kyle Dubas. In a statement, Dubas said it "was not a decision that was taken lightly... but it was the best course forward for all involved." KDKA Radio Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn says a coahing opening in New York played a role in Sullivan's departure. Sullivan won 409 games in Pittsburgh, making him the Pens all-time wins leader.
