This is a story of power, greed, and corruption within our nation's "Fourth Estate"- the press, and how two men, William Randolph Hearst, a millionaire's son and Harvard dropout, and Joseph Pulitzer, a Jewish immigrant who arrived in America with barely a penny to his name, rose to the top of the publishing empire using a combination of hard work, imagination, ruthless greed, power, and irresponsible "yellow" journalism to line their own pockets while starting a war and, in the case of Hearst, causing the assassination of an American president.through politically biased reporting.
