This week Chelsey sits down to wrap up the final episode of the Proverbs 31 Woman Series with Scotti Beth Lawson. Scotti Beth shares with us that the Proverbs 31 woman was not placed in God's Word only for wives and moms, but for all created by Him. She reminds us to approach this portion of scripture with no preconceived notions. Lastly, through the Proverbs 31 woman, we see a woman who honored God wherever He placed her and it flowed out in all facets of her life. 

A woman of noble character:

• She led with integrity rooted in Christ.
• She was filled with a servants heart.
• She was always willing when God called her.
• Obedient in all the ways she could serve the Lord. 
• We should desire to be women of noble character - rooted in Christ alone!

Approaching this portion of scripture:

• Hand over any preconceived notions to the Lord.
• Ask for fresh eyes and clear ears.
• Remember the Bible from beginning to end is about the Lord.
• The Proverbs 31 woman was a common woman who loved God.
• Ask the Lord - what can I learn about you in this portion of scripture, rather than approaching the word for what "you" can get.

Speaking life into the next generation:

• Watch their screen time - set boundaries - be bold and brave in your conversations with them!
• Encourage their dads to love and lead them the way the Lord commands. 
• Encourage them to have a relationship with Christ over anything else.
