Next week is finally Election Day. Voters who have not cast their absentee ballot or participated in early voting by mail or in person, will head to the polls. In order for the candidates to win the election they must get 270 electoral votes. FOX News Politics Editor and member of the FOX News Decision Desk Chris Stirewalt fills us in on where the swing states are leaning towards right now.

Anti-Israel protests on college campuses have continued to escalate in the past few weeks, as demonstrators have begun occupying parts of Columbia University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Critics of these Ivy League universities have called on campus administrations to take action against what they see as clear violations of the schools’ codes of conduct. MIT graduate student and President of the MIT Israel Alliance, Talia Khan joins the Rundown to discuss the anti-Semitism she is witnessing at MIT right now, how the protests changed before and after the October 7th terror attacks in Israel, and what she believes must be done to restore the safety of Jewish students on these university campuses.
Grants Pass, Oregon, took the dispute over their city’s local homelessness ordinances all the way to the Supreme Court this week. Justices argued over the constitutionality of this small city’s new anti-camping rule, which aims to stop the rising homeless population from sleeping outside with municipal laws and fines. Manhattan Institute Senior Fellow and author of “Homelessness in America,” Stephen Eide joins the podcast to explain why this anti-camping rule is meant to be just one tool of many to fix the complex problem of widespread homelessness, the issues facing someone voluntarily homeless vs. involuntarily homeless, and why he believes empowering municipalities is a crucial first step towards a solution.

A new military aid package to Ukraine on the verge of being approved into law. The 61-billion dollar package will send Kyiv desperately needed artillery rounds, air defense ammunition and armored vehicles. The aid coming at a time in which Russia has gained some ground in early steps in a 'Spring-Summer' offensive.

Evening Edition: Ukraine Aid Needed Before Russian Offensive

In the past weeks anti-Israeli demonstrations across college campuses have spread, leading to calls for campus administrators to take action against what some are calling blatant hate speech. Campus leaders are now walking a fine line, between what is covered by the first amendment, and what speech is violating school policy. Harvard Professor Arthur Brooks joins the Rundown to discuss what is causing division between students on campuses, what can be done to promote and protect diverse ideas in colleges, and why he is hopeful that America can move forward with its founding principles.

There is an international race for control of the Arctic Circle. The frozen region far north of the United States is believed to have vast amounts of natural resources including oil and rare minerals. This is why the U.S. and some of its foes including China and Russia are trying to get the upper hand in that frozen part of the world. Bill Hemmer, the co-anchor of America’s Newsroom and the host of FOX Nation’s “Battle For The Arctic”, joins the Rundown to discuss why that Arctic Circle is so valuable, how it has already created tension, and what he witnessed when he traveled there recently.

Political division over the international conflict between Israel and Hamas is driving many demonstrations at elite colleges like Columbia, Yale, NYU, MIT and Emerson College. Evening Edition: When Are Protests Ineffective Or Even Illegal?

Over the weekend, the House passed a foreign aid package, that delivers billions of dollars to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. As the bill enters the Senate this week, House Speaker Mike Johnson is facing criticism within his own party, as the legislation passed with help from nearly all Democratic House members. Former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) joins the Rundown to discuss the passage of the foreign aid bill, the threats he is seeing around the world, and shares advice for the current Speaker as Mike Johnson faces calls for ousting.

The world was shocked last month when Britain’s Princess Kate confirmed she had cancer. The 42-year-old princess is part of a concerning trend - a surge in cancer cases among younger adults. In general, cancer risk increases with age. Still, an annual report from the American Cancer Society finds people under age 50 were the only group with an increase in overall cancer incidence from 1995 to 2020, compared to age groups 50 to 65 or 65 and older. Dr. Nicole Saphier, a board-certified radiologist and Fox News Contributor, discusses what factors may be behind these jarring numbers, what symptoms people should look out for, and how doctors should respond to this troubling trend.
