The Sacrifice of Isaac
Genesis 22

God asks Abraham to take Isaac—his long-awaited son of promise— up onto a mountain to sacrifice him on the altar. It’s a picture of what Jesus would do for us. Except on that wooden cross, atop that hillside, God the Father would not stop the knife allowing His own Son to be sacrificed for us.
When life tests you, when the climb is steep, when obedience hurts— remember this story.
You may not understand the test. But on the mountain of the Lord, it will be provided. And in Christ, it already has been.
