This time has been challenging for many of us Boss Moms because we’re out of our normal routines, and we’ve experienced the frustration of dealing with altered, shifted and even broken routines.  Routines are incredibly valuable to our performance, and when we don’t have them, things can be incredibly hard for our children and even for us. We need a structure to rely on, keep us moving forward and even to give us some freedom.  Why are routines so important to the way we tick as parents, business owners and families? Everyone functions differently, so we all need routines that work with who we are and how we want to be held accountable. It’s important to find out how you respond to expectations internally and externally, and then we can create a routine that makes sense for us around that.  Why space for our own mental health matters right now Especially at a time like this, when our kids are learning from home and everyone is more confined, our mental health as parents is so important.
