Episode 134 | ”The Soft Life”

On this episode of the MalloryBros. Podcast, the fellas start with some New Years reflection and talk about how they brought the new year in. Terrance went to see Avatar, so the guys talk about the theater experience and Terrell dishes some hate towards the films storytelling. They then speak to coming out of the holidays and share more personal resolutions. The guys then speak to Damar Hamlin's on-field injury and the impact it had on the visual of American Football. They speak specifically to how parents may or may not want their kids to take into football because of the risk of injury. Terrance challenges the validity of some of the support and points out opportunistic endeavors by some celebs. The guys then speak to the "Soft Life" trend, specifically the soft life of Black Men. Terrance doesn't hold back, and Terrell gives his thoughts to the why. This segment was a lil edgy. Terrance parallels the stress in his life to "Jean Jacket" from Jordan Peele's NOPE, which is a cool conversation about ignoring the stressors in your life. They speak a little bit to the workplace, give movie suggestions of the week, and make picks for the final week in the NFL's regular season.
