In The Summer Sleigh Ride, written by Betty K. Erwin and published in 1966, Margaret, Polly, Emilie, and Belle are four friends who live in a small Wisconsin town. Every day they try to do a Good Deed, and then they watch the town to see what they can learn. But recently the girls have noticed something strange. There seems to be someone watching them! As they go about their regular activities, they can’t help but realize that something is afoot!
