Caroline Hirsch is the owner and operator of, Caroline's on Broadway, one of New York's longest running and most renown comedy clubs, a staple in the NY comedy scene. For decades Caroline has been hosting some of the brightest stars in comedy and is credited for giving some of today's greatest comics their start including Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Sandra Bernhard, Pee Wee Herman, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams and, later, Chris Rock, among others. What started out as a small venue soon earned its place as a mandatory New York stop and a rite of passage on the way to making it in the comedy business. If that's not enough she also founded the NY Comedy Festival.
