I wrote this book for two reasons:

1. I want Christians to know that they have not saved themselves! If you are saved, it is by the grace of god in Christ Jesus! When you were baptized into Christ, you did not save yourself - you appealed to god for salvation through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 3:21). I want Christians to know this and be able to explain it simply and clearly to others.

2. I want non-Christians to know exactly what they must do to receive the gift of grace in Christ Jesus. They need to know what grace is, why they need it, and how to get it! They need to know that their denominational preachers, pastors, priests, and popes may not have been telling them the truth about the grace of god. This book will lovingly explain to them the truth!

Wes has an uncanny ability to poke those spiritual squishy bits that we'd rather people stayed away from and let us not think about. Much like C.S. Lewis, John Piper, RC Sproul, Mark Driscoll, and others have done for me in the past. There's a quote from I don't know who, "If you agree with everything your pastor says, there's probably a problem." But even those times where I disagree with Wes, he takes it back to scripture and makes me take a serious look at whether I'm disagreeing with him, or with God. And if I'm at odds with God, then I'm the one that needs to be corrected.

Excellent Book, that reaches into the bible and pulls out Gods plan of redemption for all mankind. This book gives the true meaning of Ephesians 2:8-10 and allows one to access the grace of God through obedient faith in Jesus Christ. A must read. It is imperative to get this book into the hands of every person in the world who is seeking the truth of the Love of God and Christ Jesus. Very Well written and easy to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ and his plan for all mankind.

The best explanation of how we accept Gods gift of grace

This book has helped me share how one obtains the most important gift that one could receive. Wes has been blessed with the ability to relate all the biblical truths in a manner that is easily understood.
